1. SELF-REGULATED LEARNING SUPERPOWERS (ONLINE COURSE)

In this course, you will learn about the three SELF-REGULATED LEARNING SUPERPOWERS that can help all people - children, young people and adults alike - become more confident, curious, self-regulated learners:

 

 Metacognition: Monitoring and controlling your thought processes

 Self-regulation: Monitoring and controlling your feelings and behaviours

​

 Oracy: Speaking and listening with confidence in a range of contexts

2. SELF-REGULATED LEARNING SUPERPOWERS
(FACILITATED WORKSHOPS)

We also provide this training in the form of four 90-minute facilitated workshops:
 

  1. Introduction to the Self-Regulated Learning Superpowers

  2. Metacognition: Monitoring and controlling your thought processes

  3. Self-Regulation: Monitoring and controlling your feelings and behaviours

  4. Oracy: Developing high-level speaking and listening skills in a range of contexts

3. THE LEARNING SKILLS CURRICULUM ™

THE LEARNING SKILLS CURRICULUM ™ is a new approach to teaching children and young people how to become more confident, curious, independent learners.

An 8-year evaluation carried out at the University of Cambridge found that THE LEARNING SKILLS CURRICULUM ™ led to significantly improved attainment across the curriculum, with accelerated gains among children from disadvantaged backgrounds (
Mannion, McAllister and Mercer, 2018)

In 2020 we published Fear is the Mind Killer: Why Learning to Learn deserves lesson time - and how to make it work for your pupils, which sets out how to implement THE LEARNING SKILLS CURRICULUM ™ in detail.

We now work with schools all over the world to help implement THE LEARNING SKILLS CURRICULUM ™ in a wide range of contexts: from early years to adult education, from disadvantaged schools to elite international colleges, and from workplaces to refugee camps.
