What might a curriculum that was as rich in humanity as in knowledge look like in practice? In this keynote, Dr Debra Kidd will explore the five key pillars of a Curriculum of Hope, and how they can be utilised in the classroom to create agentive, connected learners who are rooted in and contributing to their communities.



Dr Debra Kidd has taught in schools for 29 years, working with children and adults at all phases of education. She is the author of four books, the latest of which is The Curriculum of Hope. She works with schools internationally developing curriculum and pedagogies that place humanity and compassion at their heart.
