In defence of educational traditionalism: Things I believe that you probably don’t (yet)

Adam considers himself a traditional teacher. There are a number of things that Adam believes which are perhaps out of step with most people attending or speaking at the Rethinking Education Conference. In this talk Adam will go over a number of points of contention and controversy around hot-button issues like behaviour, curriculum and student autonomy.



Adam is a science teacher and lead practitioner at The Totteridge Academy in London. Adam is also the co-founder of Carousel Learning and is its Education Director. Adam regularly delivers CPD nationally and internationally and has written a number of student textbooks and books for teachers focusing on evidence-based practice and classroom craft.
