House of Imagination offers an alternative, creative approach to learning and researching experimental sites for pedagogical innovation. We engage artists, researchers and educators in creative and reflective practice that places creativity, compassion and wellbeing at the heart of a future pedagogy – prioritising freedom, agency, creativity and imagination. This session will explore a re-imagined educational alternative for more hopeful and creative futures.
Bio
Dr. Penny Hay is an artist, educator and researcher, Reader in Creative Teaching and Learning, Senior Lecturer in Arts Education, School of Education; Research Fellow, Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries; Bath Spa University and Director of Research, House of Imagination. Signature projects include School Without Walls and Forest of Imagination.
