Unravelling the fear reflex and how it hinders learning: Introducing the Alexander Technique

Alexander Technique introductory workshop. A practical session with body mapping, games and discussions about how we perceive thinking and how it relates to our bodies. The Alexander Technique is a technique about ‘how to do what we do’, so essentially it is about movement, perception and learning.

Maria Gorska-Saj is a musician, a choral conductor and an Alexander Technique teacher. She works with The Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir and the Fairford Choral Society. After obtaining two MA’s in Poland and Wales in choral conducting, she became a certified Alexander Technique practitioner in Bristol. She works with children, adults and elderly people and helps them learn music and re-learn movement in a most effective and pain-free way.
