An Introduction to Let’s Think in English: A cognitive acceleration programme

Let’s Think in English (LTE) is a teaching programme for ages 5-16 which helps young people develop the reasoning skills needed for success in English and more widely in education and life. LTE is based on 30 years’ research at King’s College London which shows that structured development of pupils’ cognitive skills raises their attainment, agency and self efficacy. Leah Crawford and Michael Walsh will introduce the theory behind LTE and will share the impact of the programme on teachers’ and students’ enjoyment, confidence and skills.
